Training Contracts for intake year 2023/2024

Undertaking a training contract is an important milestone in your legal career.

Your training contract bridges the gap between university life and the real-world life of a law firm. At Moray Legal, you don’t have to choose between exciting work and quality of life, high profile clients or first-class training – you can have it all.

Moray Legal is a new type of law firm focused on challenging the status-quo. Moray Legal operates under the trading names of the prestigious and well establish Simpson & Marwick brand as well as the innovative and dynamic Esson & Aberdein brand.

As part of the Progeny group, we are excited to be building a refreshingly modern law firm in Scotland, the UK and beyond! We believe that by working in collaboration with our employees across our multi service offering, we provide our clients with a better service as well as tailored advice.

We offer trainees a four-seat rotation, meaning that you gain more exposure to different areas of law allowing you to qualify into the area that appeals to you the most.  Whilst you will experience different challenges in each seat, you will develop your legal knowledge, business skills and commercial awareness.

For our Scotland intake, we have offices based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen. We are confident that our collaborative culture, cutting-edge technology, and talented colleagues, will provide you with a well-rounded training contract.
