Conveyancing Paralegal - Edinburgh

The Opportunity…

This is an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Conveyancing Team. You will be reporting to the Director of Legal Services in Edinburgh, supporting them, and contributing to the rest of the Residential Property Teams across Scotland.

The role…

  • Assist with transactions and carry out all aspects of residential conveyancing with minimal supervision. This will include (but not restricted to): purchase; sale; remortgage; transfer of title.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team providing support in a fast-paced, busy environment.
  • Identify and manage risk effectively. This includes (but not restricted to) Anti-Money Laundering, Source of Funds, and Source of Wealth requirements.
  • Provide assistance to clients and colleagues in the Estate Agency team on general conveyancing matters and transactions.


The requirements…

  • Experience in residential property in similar conveyancing role, preferably in Edinburgh,
  • Experience of dealing with High Net Worth individuals.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience of using new and emerging technology in the delivery of legal services.

We will give preference to candidates holding the Law Society Accredited Paralegal Qualification.
